Questions we get asked
Is a set menu required?
Yes. Groups of 12 or more dine from a set menu, while groups of 11 or fewer may order from the à la carte menu.
Can you accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions?
Yes. Vegetarian and vegan options are available, and we can accommodate allergies and other dietary requirements with advance notice.
Can I host a private dinner at Italian Kitchen?
Yes. La Serra accommodates up to 20 guests seated or 24 standing. For larger groups, La Luce holds up to 34 seated or 45 standing, and full buyouts are available for up to 120 guests seated or 180 standing.
Are there audio/visual capabilities?
Yes. Audiovisual is available for presentations and speeches in select event spaces. Your Events Manager can confirm the options for your event.
Is the restaurant accessible?
Yes. Italian Kitchen has step-free event space, including La Serra, our main dining room, the Front Patio and the Courtyard. The La Luce Room is reached by two small steps, so let your Events Manager know of any accessibility requirements in advance.
Can I bring decorations?
Yes. Free-standing decor, including florals and balloons, is welcome in our private and semi-private spaces. Nothing may be attached to surfaces, and confetti and sparklers are not permitted.
Can I bring my own wine?
No. Outside wine, liquor and champagne are not permitted. Our wine list offers a wide selection, and our team will happily guide your group to the right choice.
Can I bring my own cake?
Yes. Cakes from outside vendors are welcome. Ask your Events Manager about cutting and plating options.
Is there a minimum spend?
Yes. Minimum food and beverage spends vary by event space, day and time. Your Events Manager will confirm the minimum for your event.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A signed agreement and a 50% deposit based on your minimum spend are required to secure your event.
Is there parking available?
Yes. Paid parking lots are available nearby along Burrard and Smithe Streets.
