We are delighted to announce that Vancouver’s iconic Maitre’D, Frenchy, as well as Operations Manager Scott Garrett, can now be found at Coast Restaurant.
A Vancouver Icon known for entertaining regulars, tourists and visiting celebrities, Robert “Frenchy” Gagne joins Coast after 26 legendary years at Joe Fortes. A 2007 inductee to the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame, Frenchy personifies all that represents the ultimate in customer service and hospitality. The addition to the Coast family is a profound moment in Vancouver’s dining scene and Alberni Street operations.
In addition, after seven years heading up the food and beverage program as Restaurant Guest Services Manager at Walt Disney Resorts in Florida, Scott Garrett led the team at Joe Fortes as General Manager for the past 12 years and will now be joining Coast as Operations Manager.
