CALLING ALL TRATTORIA MEATBALL FANS!! Trattoria’s famous Meatball Eating Competition returns to this year’s Khatsahlano Festival – happening Saturday, July 9th.
Every year the competition becomes more fierce and the eaters become more strategic. This year our three time champion Cody Jensen has retired from his meatball eating days. Who will hail as our next champion? It could be you!

The competition will be comprised of three heats, each with four competitors, duking it out to see who can eat the most amount of meatballs in two minutes. The winning competitor from each heat will advance to the final round, to vie for the “Trattoria Meatball Eating Champion” title.
BONUS: As an extra incentive for our contestants, Glowbal Restaurant Group will donate $2 for every meatball eaten in the competition to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The Grand Prize winner will receive a Glowbal Group Meatball Champion Card entitling the bearer to a year’s worth of unlimited Spaghetti & Meatballs – available to use at Trattoria Kitsilano (some conditions apply).
