Our Famous Brussels Sprouts | Recipe

Finally, the time has come to share what has brought people through our doors for more than a decade; our FAMOUS Brussels Sprouts recipe! We receive countless requests from people asking just how we do it.  So ask and you shall receive!  Hold on to your hats people—these aren’t your Grandma’s Sprouts.

What You Will Need:
1 lbs Brussels Sprouts
1 1/2 tbsp Capers, drained
1 oz Lemon Juice
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
1/2 tsp Chilli Flakes
Salt to Taste

Bring up the temperature on your deep fryer to 375 degrees.  Wash sprouts and remove any dead or browning leaves.  Quarter large sprouts and halve smaller sprouts.  Ensure the Brussels Sprouts are completely dry before putting them into the deep fryer.

Place Brussels Sprouts into deep fryer and cook for 1 minute or until golden brown.  Remove the sprouts from the deep fryer and shake to remove all excess oil.  Place into a small bowl, adding capers, lemon juice, grated Parmesan, chilli flakes and salt.  Toss together, plate and serve immediately.

(Serves 4)

These are the perfect accompaniment for any holiday dinner! Enjoy!

Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. Your Brussels sprouts are out of this world! I live in Prince George so I don’t get to come to the Italian Kitchen nearly as often as I’d like but at least I can enjoy your sprouts. Cheers!

Thank you for revealing the recipe! Your restaurant is quickly becoming our favourite night out! The brussels sprouts are my favourite item on the menu, but of course we end up with Carrpachio and steak as well! Wonderful menu and atmosphere, well done!
