The Story of the GLOWBAL COLLECTION
It all began with glowbal grill Steaks & Satay, in 2002. This Yaletown icon – featuring worldly cuisine with fresh West Coast ingredients – immediately became the restaurant to be seen at in the city. To this day, it is Vancouver’s best bet for a great evening, in a stylish, sexy atmosphere. And AfterGlow, occupying the space just behind the restaurant (on Hamilton St.) extends the experience into the late hours with an intimate evening lounge.
Coast was created in 2004, to focus on the culinary artistry of the GLOWBAL COLLECTION’s founders, and featured B.C.’s best shellfish, oysters, and fish, with a decidedly West Coast feel. At the same time, Coast was to emulate a classic American seafood restaurant. Now Coast has entered a whole new chapter. In its soaring new space on Alberni Street, with much more capacity – including the sultry, exclusive O Lounge – Coast aims to be regarded as Vancouver’s best seafood restaurant. It’s time.
Society pushes the envelope for Vancouver’s nightlife scene. Racy, mysterious, and more sensual than anything this city’s ever known: Society is the place to see the glitterati, make yourself known – or to have a night that no one will ever know about.
Sanafir is a sensual journey along the Silk Route, for one of the most unique dining experiences in B.C. The exotic menu is served smoothly among plush booths, marble tables – and even beds – in a space surrounded by silk curtains and papyrus, by some of the sexiest staff in the city.
Italian Kitchen brought the Glowbal experience right to downtown Vancouver, with elegant, fresh, multi-regional Italian food, in a room that is clean and contemporary, with hints of the old country. The DOC bar, meanwhile, serves brilliant vintage Italian wines and new-era cocktails. It’s la dolce vita, for today’s discerning tastes.
Trattoria, with its around-the-corner feel, its quality Italian cuisine, and its mellow 4th Avenue location in Kitsilano, brought the Italian Kitchen right into the local neighbourhood. It is perfect for casual, comfortable Italian – every night of the week.
