Get Cracking with an Italian Kitchen Brunch Recipe

Tuscan Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients:fresh-eggs

2 oz lamb sausage patty

1 oz caramelized onion

avocado sliced

free-range egg

tomato sliced

toasted ciabatta

Directions

  • Sear your lamb patty in a pan and finish in the oven until cooked.
  • Slice one sweet onion and cook on a stove top with a little bit of honey, salt, pepper and olive oil and sauté until onions are caramelized. This can take a little time, but don’t rush it and keep the onions moving around the pan occasionally to avoid burning.
  • Poach or scramble your egg.
  • Build your sandwich with the sausage, onions, egg, avocado and sliced tomato
  • serve with some hash potatoes or a green salad.
